A 3 Month History of Use

Parents want to protect their children from all the world's dangers, but after a certain age they need to become independent and explore the world on their own. It's important that kids learn the dangers of drug use and abuse, and all parents need to instill how serious their concerns are. As kids become teenagers, it can be difficult to know for sure whether a son or daughter is hiding behavior from you that may be putting them at risk. When you aren't sure, and need to be, the HairConfirm Drug Test (12 Panel) provides a history for the use of any of 12 drugs for up to 90 days. Detect: Marijuana, Cocaine/Cocaine metabolites, Opiates (Codeine, Morphine, & 6-monacteyl morphine), Amphetamine, Methamphetamine, Ecstasy, Phencyclidine (PCP), Vicodin, Lorcet/Lortab, Oxycotin, Percocet/Percodan, and Dilaudid.

Results When You Need Them

To test, a hair sample should be taken as close to the scalp as possible, and be at least 1.5 inches long. At least 90-120 strands of hair should be collected. If the hair collected is shorter than 1.5 inches, more strands should be submitted. Collected hair will be sealed in the included specimen pouch and sent to the HairConfirm laboratory using the prepaid envelope. Test results are available online about 2 business days after being received.

Note that it takes up to 5 days for hair affected by drug use to show up above the scalp.
